ANOTHER WMIZ PHOTO Irene and Charlie McCreery circa 2000 In the Delaware Valley, WMIZ is unique in many areas. One way is in its ownership. The station is owned by Clear Communications, Inc. Its President is Charles McCreery, called Charlie by his friends. Most stations are owned by large companies owning hundreds or thousands of stations. However, Charlie McCreery stands high above the rest. At WMIZ, its President and major stock holder, Mr. McCreery takes a personal interest in the station and in our community. He visits the station often and his input is into every aspect of our broadcast service and we do mean service. WMIZ is one of the few stations that still runs Public Service Announcements. With the deregulation of broadcasting, most stations have dropped these free community announcements because they consider them "clutter." At WMIZ, we still run PSA's because service to our community is always important. It is that way today and will be that way tomorrow!
